The Engineering Network (TEN) was established in 2020, when founders Luke Webster and Mark Newby acquired the respected online platform
MachineBuilding.net. Webster and Newby are experienced specialists in magazine publishing and event organisation in the engineering sector. In the years since the formation of TEN, the business has grown exponentially.
In 2021 TEN acquired the well-known and popular engineering design magazine
Industrial Technology, edited by one of the industry’s best known and most widely respected journalists, Mark Simms. Mark also edits MachineBuilding.net as well as TEN’s other successful specialist platforms.
FasteningandBonding.net was launched in 2021 with its own database of design and production engineers seeking fastening, bonding and joining solutions across manufacturing industry.
In October 2023, TEN held the first
MachineBuilding.Live
event, a specialist one-day event opportunity focused on the specific needs of machine builders, systems integrators and OEMs.
In November 2023, TEN launched FoodManufacturing.Live, a one-day event focused on the specific needs of engineering professionals in the food and drink manufacturing and processing sector.
In December 2023 TEN introduced FoodManufacturing.net to partner FoodManufacturing.Live and serve the needs of engineers of all disciplines operating across the UK food and drink manufacturing sector.
The business has ambitious plans to grow and expand in the core markets it serves.
